North Central Mason County in western West Virginia... * WHEN...Until 300 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Some roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1219 AM EDT, trained weather spotters reported lingering flooding in some areas due to heavy rainfall from earlier today. Flooding is ongoing. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain fell earlier today. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Pomeroy, Racine, Coolville, Rutland, New Haven, Mason, Tuppers Plains, Middleport, Chester, Syracuse, Hartford City, Cheshire, Lakin and Kyger. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
