Coastal waters from Port Aransas to Matagorda Ship Channel out 20 NM... Copano, Aransas, and Redfish Bays... San Antonio, Mesquite, and Espiritu Santo Bays... Waters from Port Aransas to Matagorda Ship Channel from 20 to 60 NM... At 736 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 nm north of Turtle Bay to 11 nm north of Port Lavaca to 24 nm north of Seadrift to 46 nm northwest of Port Oconnor, moving southeast at 45 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Victoria Regional Airport ASOS. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Locations impacted include... Seadrift, Rockport, and Port Oconnor. Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Movement was south at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Victoria Regional Airport ASOS. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Port Lavaca, Rockport, Refugio, Woodsboro, Seadrift, McFaddin, Port Oconnor, Lamar, Fannin, Point Comfort, Bayside, Quintana, Palm Harbor, Long Mott, Saxet Lakes, Green Lake, Bonnie View, Holiday Beach, Tivoli, and Matagorda Island State Park. This includes the following highways... US Highway 183 between mile markers 660 and 668. US Highway 59 between mile markers 640 and 658. US Highway 77 between mile markers 582 and 628. US Highway 87 between mile markers 822 and 840. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
