Cedar River near Conesville affecting Louisa and Muscatine Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and will continue. * WHERE...Cedar River near Conesville. * WHEN...Until Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 14.2 feet, Water affects Lindle Avenue and Keokuk Avenue, both near Saulsbury Park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 14.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Friday morning and continue falling. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
