North Skunk River near Sigourney affecting Keokuk County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S. * WHEN...Until Sunday, July 12. * IMPACTS...At 12.5 feet, Water affects old U.S. Highway 61 near the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 11.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.5 feet Wednesday evening. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday afternoon. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
