Special Weather Statement issued June 14 at 5:03PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC The National Weather Service in Sterling, Virginia has activated the SKYWARN amateur radio network for Severe Thunderstorm Watch number 335. Severe thunderstorms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, large hail, and isolated tornadoes. Weather spotters are encouraged to relay any severe storm impacts to the National Weather Service in Sterling, Virginia.
