Flood Watch issued July 10 at 11:25AM EDT until July 12 at 2:00AM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...The following counties, in southeast Indiana, Ohio and Switzerland, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Brown, Clermont, Highland, Hocking, Pike, Ross and Scioto. * WHEN...Through late Saturday night. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected into Saturday night. A very moist environment will lead to heavy rainfall at times, with the greatest potential on Saturday. This could lead to flash flooding. People in the watch area, especially those living in areas prone to flooding, should be prepared to take action should flooding develop. Monitor the latest forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings.

Flood Advisory issued July 10 at 10:54PM EDT until July 11 at 3:00AM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Northern Ross County, Ohio. * WHEN...Until 300 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1052 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms had produced heavy rain in northern Ross County, with 2 to 3 inches of rain estimated. The heaviest rain occurred near Chillicothe, Andersonville, and south of Kingston. Minor flooding is ongoing. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Chillicothe, Kingston, Andersonville, North Folk Village, Frankfort, Londonderry, Laurelville, Clarksburg, Adelphi, Mooresville, and Hallsville. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
