Navasota River Near Easterly affecting Robertson and Leon Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Navasota River near Easterly. * WHEN...From Friday evening to late Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding below Easterly is expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening to a crest of 21.4 feet Saturday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday evening. Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
