Petite Saline Creek near Boonville affecting Cooper County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Petite Saline Creek near Boonville. * WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Low lying woodlands and fields near the creek flood. At 19.5 feet, The creek floods U Highway about 4 miles southeast of Boonville. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 21.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Boonville, Sweet Springs, New Franklin, Pilot Grove, Bunceton, Houstonia, Prairie Home, Emma, Nelson, Hughesville, Blackwater, Franklin, Wooldridge, Lamine and Clifton City. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
