Severe frosts with temperatures down to -4 degrees which can cause significant crop damage are forecast for Sunday morning in parts of the Mallee, Wimmera, Northern Country, North Central and North East forecast districts. Frost Warning Temperatures at ground level can be many degrees lower than those recorded by standard weather stations, especially in calm conditions with very clear skies.

Sheep graziers are warned that cold minimum temperatures and southeasterly winds are expected during Sunday morning. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the North East forecast district.
