Homes in Deweyville closest to the river are flooded. Flooding of homes in the Indian Lakes and River Oaks sections will also occur. Air Quality Alert issued June 12 at 2:28PM CDT by NWS Lake Charles LA The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is forecasting a Code Orange Air Quality Alert, until 7 PM CDT this evening, and from 10 AM to 7 PM CDT Thursday. The Air Quality Index indicates that Ground Level Ozone will be at the Orange level, which means Members of sensitive groups may experience health effects.
