HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Atlantic, Greenfield, Guthrie Center, Griswold, Anita, Exira, Adair, Fontanelle, Elk Horn, Lewis, Casey, Orient, Massena, Kimballton, Cumberland, Bridgewater, Brayton, Marne, Wiota, and Lake Anita State Park. While rainfall amounts in some areas will be modest, there will be pockets of heavier rainfall that may lead to flash flooding, especially if multiple rounds fall in the same area. In addition, several more rounds of heavy rainfall are expected later this week, from Wednesday onward, and this watch might need to be extended or succeeded by more watches later.
