Special Weather Statement issued June 26 at 9:23PM EDT by NWS Louisville KY At 923 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 14 miles southeast of Taylorsville to 14 miles east of Bardstown to near Springfield to near Lebanon. Movement was northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Harrodsburg, Springfield, Perryville, Bradfordsville, Willisburg, Mackville, Brumfield, Parksville, Dugansville, and Polin. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
