Coastal waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Mexico Beach out 20 NM... St. Andrews Bay Waterways... Waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Mexico Beach from 20 to 60 NM... At 434 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 12 nm southwest of Panama City Beach to 30 nm northwest of Empire Mica Wreck, moving east at 40 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Locations impacted include... Cape San Blas, Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe, and Panama City Beach. Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Rip Current Statement issued July 13 at 11:20AM EDT until July 14 at 2:00AM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL * WHAT...Dangerous rip currents expected. * WHERE...Walton, Bay, Gulf, and Franklin County Beaches. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.

Movement was east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Panama City, Lynn Haven, Panama City Beach, Callaway, Port St. Joe, Springfield, Mexico Beach, Hiland Park, Tyndall Air Force Base, White City, Parker, Wewahitchka, Honeyville, St Andrews State Park, Allanton, Cedar Grove, Dirego Park, Beacon Beach, Odena, and Cape San Blas. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
