Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued June 24 at 11:58PM CDT until June 25 at 2:00AM CDT by NWS Hastings NE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 390 REMAINS VALID UNTIL 2 AM CDT THURSDAY FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN KANSAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 4 COUNTIES IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS OSBORNE PHILLIPS ROOKS SMITH IN NEBRASKA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 3 COUNTIES IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA FRANKLIN FURNAS HARLAN THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ALMA, ARAPAHOE, BEAVER CITY, BELLAIRE, CAMBRIDGE, CAMPBELL, CODELL, DOWNS, FRANKLIN, HILDRETH, HOLLINGER, KENSINGTON, ORLEANS, OSBORNE, OXFORD, PHILLIPSBURG, PLAINVILLE, SMITH CENTER, AND STOCKTON.

Special Weather Statement issued June 25 at 12:15AM CDT by NWS Hastings NE At 1215 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles north of Agra to near Phillipsburg to 8 miles south of Speed. Movement was southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Agra and Glade around 1220 AM CDT. Kensington and Kirwin around 1225 AM CDT. Stockton around 1230 AM CDT. Athol around 1235 AM CDT. Other locations in the path of these storms include Woodston and Cedar. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for north central Kansas.
