Flood Watch issued June 27 at 12:04PM EDT until June 27 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Jackson KY * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...The Flood Watch includes the Kentucky counties of Bath, Elliott, Fleming, Menifee, Montgomery, Powell, Rowan, and Morgan. * WHEN...The Flood Watch is in effect until 8 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of creeks, streams, and other low lying and flood prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms are expected at times into this evening. Heavy rainfall may occur where thunderstorms are the most persistent, resulting in flash flooding. Monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
