Flood Watch issued June 26 at 11:33AM CDT until June 27 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Oklahoma, including the following counties, in east central Oklahoma, Cherokee, Muskogee and Okfuskee. In northeast Oklahoma, Adair, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Mayes, Northeast Osage, Nowata, Okmulgee, Ottawa, Pawnee, Rogers, Southeast Osage, Tulsa, Wagoner, Washington OK and Western Osage. * WHEN...Through Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and evening near or over far northwest Arkansas in the vicinity of a boundary. Slow-moving and/or training storms in a moist environment will have the potential to drop locally heavy rainfall totals, on the order of 3 to 7 inches. With soils fairly saturated, most of this rainfall will be runoff and lead to quick onset flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings.
