Flood Advisory issued June 6 at 8:34AM CDT until June 6 at 11:45AM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Oklahoma, including the following counties, Creek, Okmulgee, Tulsa and Wagoner. * WHEN...Until 1145 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 833 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Tulsa... Broken Arrow... Sand Springs... Bristow... Bixby... Sapulpa... Jenks... Glenpool... Coweta... Catoosa... Mannford... Drumright... Inola... Kiefer... Beggs... Mounds... Kellyville... Oilton... Depew...
