In New York, Northeast Suffolk, Northern Nassau, Northwest Suffolk, Southeast Suffolk, Southern Nassau, and Southwest Suffolk Counties. * WHEN...Until 9 AM EDT this morning. * IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A portion of the advisory may need to be extended later into the morning if fog is slower to improve. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Special Weather Statement issued May 26 at 10:38PM EDT by NWS Upton NY Fog will continue to develop tonight reducing visibilities to less than a mile through early Sunday morning. Patchy dense fog is also expected with visibilities less than a quarter mile at times. Travelers should be prepared for quickly changing visibilities. Slow down and use your low beams in the fog.
