Beach Hazards Statement issued September 21 at 9:26AM EDT until September 23 at 10:00PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH * WHAT...High risk of rip currents. * WHERE...Lucas, Ottawa, Erie, Lorain and Cuyahoga Counties. * WHEN...Through Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...Wind and wave action will cause currents on the lakeshore. Swimmers should not enter the water. Currents can carry swimmers away from shore through a sand bar and along structures extending out into the lake. Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
