Missouri River At Nebraska City affecting Otoe and Fremont Counties. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Missouri...Nebraska...Iowa... Missouri River At Rulo affecting Richardson and Holt Counties. Missouri River At Brownville affecting Atchison and Nemaha Counties. Missouri River at Plattsmouth affecting Mills and Cass Counties. Missouri River At Omaha affecting Sarpy, Douglas and Pottawattamie Counties. Missouri River Near Blair affecting Harrison, Washington and Pottawattamie Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Missouri River at Decatur. * WHEN...Until early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 38.0 feet, Extensive flooding along the reach would be encountered. Areas impacted will include Marina Drive as well as numerous homes along the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 37.2 feet...or 2.2 feet above flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24 hours was 37.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 37.2 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 35.0 feet. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
