Missouri River Near Blair affecting Harrison, Washington and Pottawattamie Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Missouri River at Decatur. * WHEN...Until early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 38.0 feet, Extensive flooding along the reach would be encountered. Areas impacted will include Marina Drive as well as numerous homes along the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 37.2 feet...or 2.2 feet above flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24 hours was 37.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 37.2 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 35.0 feet. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
