For the Red River...including Wahpeton, Hickson, Fargo, Halstad, East Grand Forks, Oslo, Drayton, Pembina...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Red River of the North at Fargo. * WHEN...Until Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, MINOR FLOOD. Elm St between 14th and 15th Ave N is closed (Fargo). Storm sewer pump stations are beginning to operate (Fargo). * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 17.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 18.1 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. Safety message - Turn around, don't drown. Don't travel through flooded areas.
