Trempealeau River at Dodge affecting Buffalo and Trempealeau Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Trempealeau River at Dodge. * WHEN...From this evening to early Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, The railroad bridge about three quarters of a mile upstream from the gage can restrict the flow. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 9.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 10.8 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 10.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. In west central Wisconsin, Buffalo, Jackson, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Trempealeau and Vernon Counties. * WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional heavy rain due to thunderstorms is possible this evening into tonight. One to three inches of rain with locally higher amounts is possible.
