In northeast Nevada, Northern Elko, Ruby Mountains and East Humboldt Range in Elko, South Central Elko, Southeastern Elko and Southwest Elko. In south central Nevada, Northeastern Nye and Northwestern Nye. * WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Deep subtropical moisture will continue its northward progression across portions of northern and central Nevada today. This anomalously moist atmosphere will allow for the development of showers and thunderstorms. Flood Advisory issued July 14 at 8:41PM PDT until July 14 at 11:45PM PDT by NWS Elko NV * WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of north central and northwest Nevada, including the following counties, in north central Nevada, Lander. In northwest Nevada, Humboldt. * WHEN...Until 1145 PM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 837 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas may cause minor flooding along portions of State Route 305 approximately 10 miles south of Battle Mountain. Between 0.5 and 1.2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
