Flood Watch issued June 22 at 1:37AM EDT until June 23 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Gaylord MI * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of Northern Lower Michigan, including the following counties, Arenac, Gladwin, Iosco, Manistee, Missaukee, Ogemaw, Roscommon and Wexford. * WHEN...From 8 AM EDT this morning through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Repeated round of heavy rainfall are expected today and tonight. Widespread 2 to 4 inch rain amounts are likely with isolated higher amounts possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Special Weather Statement issued June 22 at 3:16AM EDT by NWS Gaylord MI Recent rains have led to areas of very dense fog around Gladwin and Arena counties this morning. Surface visibilities could be less an a quarter mile in some locations. Fog will linger through sunrise, as more rain is forecasted for today.
