Flood Advisory issued June 12 at 2:53AM CDT until June 12 at 6:00AM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of east central Oklahoma, including the following counties, Cherokee, Muskogee and Sequoyah. * WHEN...Until 600 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 253 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sallisaw... Vian... Gore... Webbers Falls... Gans... Marble City... Braggs... Brushy Lake State Park... Lake Tenkiller State Park... Brushy... Greenleaf State Park... Pumpkin Center... Mc Key...
