Flood Watch issued June 18 at 2:56AM EDT until June 20 at 2:00AM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Alabama, southwest Georgia, and the Florida Panhandle. * WHEN...From 8 AM EDT /7 AM CDT/ this morning through late Friday night. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected from today through Friday. Rainfall amounts of 3 to 7 inches are expected with locally higher amounts likely. Reasonable high- end totals of 8 to 12 inches are possible. Leesburg, Albany, Putney, Smithville, East Albany, Marine Corps Logistics Base, Turner City, Walker, Warwick, Sasser, Bronwood, Chokee, Radium Springs, Stocks, Forrester, Lockett Crossing, South Albany, Southwest Ga Regional A/P, Palmyra, and Olivers Mill. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
