Special Weather Statement issued September 26 at 5:59AM EDT by NWS Marquette MI Webcams and satellite imagery show formation of widespread fog across the eastern and central UP and Keweenaw and northern Houghton Counties this morning. Locally dense fog could reduce visibility to less than 1/4 miles at times. Drivers should exercise extra caution this morning and use low- beam headlights when in the fog. Fog should lift shortly after sunrise.
