Basement flooding has been reported. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 351 PM MDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall earlier across the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Flood Watch issued September 16 at 11:13AM MDT until September 18 at 12:00AM MDT by NWS Salt Lake City UT * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of Utah, including the following areas, Castle Country, Central Mountains and Wasatch Plateau/Book Cliffs. * WHEN...Through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, dry washes, slot canyons, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations such as slickrock areas and recent burn scars. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Several rounds of thunderstorms may bring heavy rainfall to the area starting this afternoon through this evening, with another round Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening.
