At 503 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a gust front, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This gust front was located along a line extending from 15 nm east of Hillsborough Bay to near Sarasota Bay to near Siesta Key, moving northwest at 20 knots. Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
