Lowland flooding of unprotected agricultural land begins. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 25.1 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 25.1 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 25.5 feet early Sunday afternoon. It will then fall Sunday evening. It will rise to 25.5 feet early Monday morning. It will then fall again but remain above flood stage. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
