The following river information is based on rainfall over the past 24 hours. These outlook stages are provided to show what may be expected. Once there is more certainty about the river forecasts, a flood warning or statement will be issued if the threat materializes. The Sangamon River at Monticello may rise above the flood stage of 13.0 feet as early as Saturday afternoon with a crest around 13.2 feet Saturday evening.
