Southeastern Crawford County in south central Indiana... Southern Harrison County in south central Indiana... Northern Perry County in south central Indiana... Central Meade County in central Kentucky... * Until 700 PM EDT /600 PM CDT/. * At 406 PM EDT /306 PM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Brandenburg, Mount Pleasant, Leopold, Ekron, Mauckport, Alton, Laconia, New Amsterdam and Wolf Creek. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you can do so safely and have them relay your report to the National Weather Service in Louisville.

Flood Advisory issued July 21 at 5:42PM CDT until July 21 at 5:45PM CDT by NWS Louisville KY The Flood Advisory will expire at 645 PM EDT /545 PM CDT/ this evening for portions of south central Indiana, including the following area, Perry and central Kentucky, including the following area, Meade. Areas that experienced heavier rainfall amounts are still under a Flash Flood Warning. Please refer to that bulletin for more information.
