Flood Advisory issued July 11 at 10:28AM CDT until July 11 at 2:30PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following county, Bexar. * WHEN...Until 230 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1028 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... San Antonio, Schertz, Cibolo, Converse, Universal City, Live Oak, Selma, Stinson Municipal Airport, San Antonio Int Airport, Randolph AFB, Kirby, Alamo Heights, Windcrest, Terrell Hills, Olmos Park, St. Hedwig, Elmendorf, China Grove, Castle Hills and Buena Vista. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
