Special Weather Statement issued September 13 at 10:32PM EDT by NWS Upton NY Areas of fog have formed across southern of Connecticut this evening due to residual moisture and light winds. Some of the fog will be locally dense, reducing visibilities to a 1/4 mile or less. The fog will dissipate following a cold frontal passage that should pass to the south of the area by 5 am. Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing visibilities and should use caution if traveling. Slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
