Flood Advisory issued June 21 at 8:52PM CDT until June 21 at 11:00PM CDT by NWS Chicago IL * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Portions of southern Cook and northern Lake, IN counties, including the I-80/90/94 corridors. * WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 848 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicate between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over the past few hours due to persistent, steady rainfall. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Several area creeks and streams are at bankfull or rising to near minor flood stage. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
