At 651 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Bourne to Westport, moving southeast at 20 knots. thunderstorms will be near... West Island In Buzzards Bay, Rocky Point, Buzzards Bay, and Horseneck Beach around 655 PM EDT. Woods Hole around 705 PM EDT. Teaticket around 710 PM EDT. Hyannisport and Vineyard Sound around 715 PM EDT. Point Gammon around 720 PM EDT. Lambert's Cove and Vineyard Haven Harbor around 725 PM EDT. Expect gusty winds to around 30 knots...briefly rough seas and lightning strikes. Consider heading for safe harbor until these storms pass. Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the open water stay below deck if possible and keep away from ungrounded metal objects.
