Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 29 at 11:29PM CDT until June 30 at 12:15AM CDT by NWS Duluth MN At 1128 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cuyuna, or 20 miles northeast of Brainerd, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Palisade. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for north central and east central Minnesota. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado, go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.

Tornado Watch issued June 29 at 7:49PM CDT until June 30 at 1:00AM CDT by NWS Duluth MN THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED TORNADO WATCH 419 IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT TUESDAY FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN MINNESOTA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 5 COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA AITKIN CROW WING PINE IN NORTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA CASS ITASCA THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF AITKIN, BRAINERD, CASS LAKE, EAST GULL LAKE, ESTERDY, GRAND RAPIDS, HINCKLEY, LAKE SHORE, PINE CITY, PINE RIVER, SCHLEY, AND WALKER. THIS ALSO INCLUDES THE TRIBAL LANDS OF THE BOIS FORTE BAND, DEER CREEK AREA AND THE MILLE LACS BAND, BIG SANDY LAKE, , HINCKLEY, , EAST LAKE AND, LENA LAKE AREAS.
