South Central Clark County in southern Nevada... * Until 845 PM PDT /845 PM MST/. * At 644 PM PDT /644 PM MST/, Thunderstorm activity persists across central Mohave County and the Mohave Valley. Wiedspread rainfall of 1 to 2 inches has resulted in pockets of ongoing flooding and excessive runoff. Additional thunderstorms in San Bernardino County may add to the rainfall totals later this evening. Have extended the flood warning through 845 pm to account for ongoing rainfall. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Bullhead City, Kingman, Laughlin, Katherine Landing, Needles, Golden Valley, New Kingman-Butler, Chloride, Windy Point Campground, Packsaddle Campground, Oatman, Hualapai Mountain Park, Wild Cow Campground, Dw Ranch Road, Mesquite Creek, Big Bend Rec Area, Mojave Ranch Estates, Mohave Valley, Arizona Village and Hualapai Peak. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
