Wolfe County in southeastern Kentucky... * Until 715 AM EDT. * At 624 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Frenchburg to near Cat Creek to Iron Mound, moving southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Severe thunderstorms will be near... Stanton around 630 AM EDT. Ravenna around 635 AM EDT. Campton around 640 AM EDT. Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include West Liberty, Lewis and Williams. Movement was southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Stanton, Irvine, Frenchburg, Jeffersonville, Clay City, Ravenna, Wellington, Campsites in the Indian Creek area of the Daniel Boone National Forrest, Levee, Bowen, Kimbrell, Rice Station, Kings Station, Fagan, Calloway Crossing, Wiseman Crossing Station, Virden, Winston, Wisemantown, and Vaughns Mill. THIS INCLUDES Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway between mile markers 12 and 33. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
