Flood Warning issued June 17 at 11:20AM EDT until June 23 at 11:20PM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN ...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana... East Fork White River at Seymour. Wabash River at Montezuma. Wabash River at Lafayette. .Rainfall today and tonight is expected to bring minor lowland flooding to portions of the Wabash and East Fork White Rivers. People with interests along local rivers should continue to monitor forecasts and warnings as additional flood warnings may be needed depending on the severity, location and timing of heavy rainfall. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma. * WHEN...From Thursday afternoon to late Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Montezuma agricultural levee is overtopped. Fourteen hundred acres of low bottomlands flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 10.3 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall to 10.0 feet this evening. It will then rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to 16.8 feet early Friday morning. It will fall to 16.7 feet early Saturday morning. It will then rise to 17.6 feet Sunday evening. It will fall below flood stage late Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
