Flood Warning issued June 18 at 11:15PM EDT until June 19 at 10:00AM EDT by NWS Charleston WV * WHAT...Flooding caused by prior excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Northeastern Vinton County in southeastern Ohio... * WHEN...Until 1000 AM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1112 PM EDT, emergency management reported that some roads across northeast Vinton County continue to be impacted by high water, particularly along Raccoon Creek. This includes State Route 677. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mcarthur, Lake Hope State Park and Zaleski. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
