Coastal waters from Port Aransas to Matagorda Ship Channel out 20 NM... Copano, Aransas, and Redfish Bays... San Antonio, Mesquite, and Espiritu Santo Bays... Waters from Port Aransas to Matagorda Ship Channel from 20 to 60 NM... At 824 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from near East Matagorda Bay to 9 nm east of Palacios Bay to near Turtle Bay to 12 nm north of Port Lavaca, moving east at 45 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots. SOURCE...Radar Indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats, damage vessels and oil rigs, and create suddenly higher waves. Make sure all on board are in a secure location and wearing life jackets. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Locations impacted include... Seadrift, Rockport, and Port Oconnor. Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Several ASOS within Victoria Crossroads have reported wind gusts to 40-50 mph. Movement was south at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Several ASOS. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Corpus Christi, Portland, Beeville, Robstown, Rockport, Sinton, Mathis, Port Aransas, Taft, Refugio, Woodsboro, Corpus Christi International Airport, Skidmore, Lamar, Ingleside, Aransas Pass, Odem, Gregory, Orange Grove, and St. Paul. This includes the following highways... Interstate 37 between mile markers 1 and 51. US Highway 181 between mile markers 576 and 648. US Highway 183 between mile markers 660 and 668. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Port Lavaca, Rockport, Refugio, Woodsboro, Seadrift, McFaddin, Port Oconnor, Lamar, Fannin, Point Comfort, Bayside, Quintana, Palm Harbor, Long Mott, Saxet Lakes, Green Lake, Bonnie View, Holiday Beach, Tivoli, and Matagorda Island State Park.
