Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind. Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive.

The highest water levels are likely with the Sunday morning high tides. * WHERE...Southern Middlesex and Southern New London Counties. * WHEN...Until 6 PM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding is expected in the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Expect around 1 to 1 1/2 feet of inundation above ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads and low lying property including parking lots, parks, lawns and homes/businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding. If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
