In east central Illinois, Champaign, Douglas, Edgar and Vermilion. In west central Illinois, Fulton and Knox. * WHEN...Until 1 AM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Some thunderstorms will produce rain rates of 2+ inches per hour. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 416 PM CDT, emergency management reported multiple roads inundated with standing water in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Canton, Cuba, St. David, Smithfield, Bryant, Norris and Fiatt. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
