Storm drains and ditches may be clogged with debris, increasing the risk of flooding. This is especially true in the Chicago metropolitan area. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Parts of the Flood Watch area have picked up 3 to 6 inches of rain in the past 48 hours. As a result, many rivers and creeks in the watch area are already at bankfull and soils are saturated.
