Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 24 at 9:08PM EDT until September 26 at 3:00PM EDT by NWS Upton NY * WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline. * WHERE...Southern New Haven, Southern Middlesex and Southern New London Counties. * WHEN...From 7 PM Friday to 3 PM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience minor flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Localized moderate coastal flooding possible Friday night into early Saturday. If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
