Remarks: A robust frontal system currently over the North Coast will gradually move over the Lower Mainland tonight, with heavy rain beginning this evening. Rainfall amounts of 50 to 70 mm are expected. This frontal system will also bring strong and gusty southeasterly winds overnight and Tuesday morning. The heavy rain will ease Tuesday afternoon. ### Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic.
