special weather statement in effect What: Rain, heavy at times. Where: Fort Nelson region, primarily near Sikanni Chief, north Peace River region, Muncho Lake - Stone Mountain Parks. When: Today to Monday morning, except tonight to Monday evening for northern Peace River. Remark: A slow moving frontal system will set up around the Fort Nelson region today and move slowly towards the Peace River region tonight. Rain, heavy at times, and embedded thunderstorms are expected with this system. Current models indicate local amounts of 50 mm are possible, especially near Sikanni Chief and into the northern Peace River region, as well as Muncho Lake Park - Stone Mountain Park. The rain will ease early Monday for Muncho Lake Park - Stone Mountain Park and Fort Nelson regions. Rain will continue Monday for the northern Peace River region and end Monday evening. ### Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
