Flood Advisory issued May 3 at 6:58PM CDT until May 3 at 10:00PM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Concho, Menard, Schleicher and Tom Green. * WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 657 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen according to radar estimates. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Eastern San Angelo, Eden, Vancourt, Eola, Wall, Millersview, Live Oak, Vick, Us-83 Near The Menard-Concho County Line, The Intersection Of Us-83 And Ranch Road 765 and Adams. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... FM 2334 crossing Dry Lipan Creek, County Road 4131 crossing Maverick Creek, County Road 2019 crossing Brady Creek, County Road 2304 crossing Fitzgerald Creek, crossings along County Road 4508, County Road 3120 crossing Harden Branch, Dunagan crossing San Saba River, Russell crossing Rocky Creek and Debus crossing. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
