Coastal Flood Advisory issued June 17 at 3:22AM CDT until June 19 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Lake Charles LA * WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected. * WHERE...Lower Iberia and Lower St. Mary Parishes. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 7 PM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides will be up to 2 feet above astronomical predicted levels with actual tide levels during high tide time between 1.5 and 2.0 feet MHHW. If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
